Takes place 2 months after the end of “The Siren.”
BELOW LIFTED FROM TIFFANY REISZ’S GOODREADS REVIEW BECAUSE THERE ISN’T CURRENTLY A BLURB OTHER THAN THE TWO SENTENCES ABOVE:
It’s July, a couple months after Nora returns to Søren at the end of THE SIREN, and while in bed, Søren makes a trade with Nora. He’ll do something nice for her and she’ll do something nice for him. Of course Nora picks something sexual. But Søren surprises her with his “something nice” request.

Review:
Oh, this made me so happy! Like Christmas in July…much better than the ice cream truck rumbling through my neighborhood today playing Christmas music at 45 MPH. I was not giving chase in this heat. But, I was definitely happy to begin my evening with Something Nice and a cocktail.
I love every single glimpse we get of the Sinners. < See that “get of” — my Grammarly app wants me to change that to “get off.” And that’s…well…fitting, I guess. They must know Tiffany.
My favorite novellas or vignettes of a series give insights and deeper understanding of the characters. This does that during a time when Nora is hurting and unsure. This story digs into that a bit, during of all things, a church picnic. She’s holding back from Søren, and he always knows how to get right to the heart of the matter in the way Nora needs. These two are pure magic together topped off their perfect banter and innuendo.
We get a little taste of the past, a dash of Kingsley, a mention of Wesley and Michael, and a little bit of foreshadowing of a future I’ve already read. And that makes me want to re-read the whole series again…for like the 5th time. I’ve lost count, to be honest. But she sticks these little Easter eggs in there, and I can’t resist.
I know Tiffany is ready to write other things, and she is already. Yay! I want new stuff too. But as long as she occasionally pulls these little bits of the Sinners together for us, with these characters who feel like family, I’ll be a happy girl.
