Review:
A quick review because this was super short.
In short, I REALLY liked this. I mean…mainly because it’s K.J. Charles. But also, because this is a perfect teaser leading into Rag and Bone–which I’ve been salivating over for a good while now.
So far, these characters are a delicious crack-up and I was smiling my fool head off the whole time (except for a few minor squicky parts).
I cannot WAIT to see what Neddy and Crispin get up to next.
Also, now I’m oddly fascinated by the Victorian Era waste industry. Ever wonder what happens to all the refuse we create these days? Think about the days of yore and yesteryear. Ponderous.
Note: Rag and Bone is expected to release on March 1st. This is set in The World of a Charm of Magpies, a spinoff from A Charm of Magpies series. This can be read as a stand-alone.
